The American West, 150 years ago.

Thirty-four beautiful photographs of the American West in the 1870's by famed Civil War photographer Timothy O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan was not only a journalist, but an artist, and he inspired Ansel Adams and generations of landscape photographers.

  2. Anon. Yeah, the atheists in the USSR destroyed an entire sea. The Aral Sea, now appearing as the Aral Desert. All the water pumped out for cotton fields. It wasn't slow and insidious. And where do you find any theists who have bagged an entire sea?
