"it can't even launch a damn website"

From the lefty New Republic:
Liberalism has spent the better part of the past century attempting to prove that it could competently and responsibly extend the state into new reaches of American life. With the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, the administration has badly injured that cause, confirming the worst slurs against the federal government. It has stifled bad news and fudged promises; it has failed to translate complex mechanisms of policy into plain English; it can’t even launch a damn website. What’s more, nobody responsible for the debacle has lost a job or suffered a demotion. Over time, the Affordable Care Act’s technical difficulties can be repaired. Reversing the initial impressions of government ineptitude won’t be so easy.
Obamacare is a real wake-up call, for Americans with single-digit IQ's and propeller beanies and drool on their chins who didn't notice how well liberalism managed welfare dependence, black family cohesion, inner city crime, New Orleans, Detroit, Newark, and Vietnam.

"My goodness, these liberals are... are... are... incompetent!"

:0

But, as I've repeatedly pointed out, Obamacare is no failure. The folks who run the NSA know how to design a website. Obamacare is the meticulously planned destruction of our healthcare system, so it can be rebuilt by socialists. Creative destruction. Never let a good crisis go to waste, and if you don't have a good crisis, make one.

Textbook Cloward-Piven.

No liberals, and few conservatives, understand what's going on. We elected Alinskyites, not liberals. There's not a shred of incompetence in Obamacare. Obama doesn't give a shit about losing congressional seats in mid-term elections. So what if he has to sacrifice a few liberal Democrat assholes to get the job done? Interestingly, he does care about packing the federal judiciary with leftists, to ensure the judiciary doesn't screw up the creative healthcare destruction.

Alinskyites play the long game, and they're going to win it.

  1. Ah, a conspiracy theory! This should be a great thread.

    1. oh, so you prefer the much simpler explanation--incompetence not malfeasance.

some conspiracy theories are true, you know.

  2. Didn’t we just do this thread? This blog is getting awfully repetitive. Cut and paste, add boilerplate opinion we’ve all heard a hundred times, repeat.

Doc, I gotta disagree with you on this one. The McLightworker Administration just ain't that smart. Go read Jeebus's letter to the Harvard Law Review. Or, better, Mz Lightworker's senior thesis at Princeton, which the inimitable Christopher Hitchens described perfectly...

To describe it as hard to read would be a mistake; the thesis cannot be "read" at all, in the strict sense of the verb. This is because it wasn't written in any known language.

That is not to say that the morons on the Left won't be pushing for OneSizeFitsAll ProgressoCare where "sex-change" body mutilation is free, aromatherapy is subsidized, and innovative medical technology is taxed. But that's not news. They've been killing people in Europe and the UK for years and getting better at it all the time. They're even NICE about it when they tell you that your "quality of life" (as measured in QALYS, by which measure Stephen Hawking should be immediately shot) isn't worth cowshit on a bootheel, so sayonara sucker.

Maybe you're right and they'll find enough Proglodytes to vote in such a thing, but that's exactly why the terms "concierge care" and "medical tourism" were invented. Screw 'em. I'd hate to see it happen, but if that's what the American people want, I say give it to 'em good and hard.

What's your fucking point? I agree that there is no conspiracy, but harping on the intelligence of the Obamas? It seems to me that the current president is intellectually quite superior to the previous White House occupant who had fried his excuse for a brain with decades of alcohol and cocaine abuse. Indeed, it seems that Democratic presidents in general have better academic credentials than their GOP counterparts.

  4. Creative destruction is an ancient philosophy. Often referred to in mystical and occult circles as the 'left hand path'.
The modern political variation is 'forced synthesis'. I suspect that is exactly what we see here.
A system designed to fail, create a massive reaction, and a preplanned 'solution' waiting in the wings.

  5. I couldn't agree more, Doc. Find a copy of Sellout: The Inside Story of President Clinton's Impeachment by David P. Schippers. Shippers, a life long Democrat, describes that long before Clinton was impeached for lying to a grand jury, he was instituting a process of getting illegal immigrants and convicted felons registered to vote. ACORN and the many other tax payer subsidized community organizer leftist front groups have been hard at work to facilitate voter fraud. The Left could not get elected without voter fraud but with it and a stacked judiciary, they can successfully destroy capitalism. It's going according to plan.

Precisely. I have to admire their tactical skill. Pure evil, but highly skilled.

... in the mid-term; long-term, they lose, because reality always wins.

I hope we win in the long term (in a secular sense-- of course we'll win in an eternal sense).

But I'm not so optimistic. With the decline of cultural Christianity, it's going to be quite a ride.

    2. I wasn't speaking optimistically -- I expect that how reality is going to win is with the collapse of the Republic.

  7. I think we win in the long term. Our King sits on His throne and His Father is making His enemies His footstool. As they say in the movies, resistance is futile! We are watching before our very eyes, the crumbling of Darwinism. It is falling like the Berlin Wall, and thanks to Obama, even life long leftists are realizing that government can't usher in utopia. People have to be free to fail or there is no freedom. Dr. Egnor, you are doing the King's business by calling attention to evil in the world and of course by healing the sick. Not to be too mushy, but I am grateful for you. God Bless you sir and Happy Thanksgiving.
