The Left is going nuts

From Andrew Sullivan:

Did Obama just throw the entire election away?
The Pew poll is devastating, just devastating. Before the debate, Obama had a 51 - 43 lead; now, Romney has a 49 - 45 lead. That's a simply unprecedented reversal for a candidate in October. Before Obama had leads on every policy issue and personal characteristic; now Romney leads in almost all of them. Obama's performance gave Romney a 12 point swing! I repeat: a 12 point swing.
Note to Sullivan: it wasn't just the debate that changed this election. Obama is an objectively failed President. His entire presidency is predicated on a lie. He is a creature created by the media and the far Left-- a grossly incompetent 'community organizer' unfit for any elected office.  Even the mainstream media coverage of his presidency has been little more than a DNC campaign ad.

The public realized that their President is an empty chair.

Romney, on the other hand, is a genuinely qualified man with extensive experience in the public and private sector. He is a man of actual accomplishment and skill, and transparent decency. Last week, in 90 minutes, the electorate came to see that.

The public realized last week that they've been lied to.

  1. Oh, let's go with a reliable poll. Gee, not such a huge deal when you get to reality is it?

But reality is a foreign land for you isn't it?

  2. Who are these 6% who find themselves more convinced by a 90-minute circus than by the evidence of the last decade? It's not like either candidate doesn't have a record we can look at. I know you think this is good news, but doesn't it mean that the election will be decided by significant minority of voters who are more impressed with words than actions?

  3. I agree wholeheartedly. People who were swayed by the debate are idiots-- the evidence needed to decide has been there for a very long time.

We live in a fallen world, and we have to be happy with what we can get. An Obama victory would be a catastrophe, a Romney victory, less so.

  4. Such faith! :P
You folks (JH and Dr Egnor) are starting to sound like Canadians! We have the same deep seated love for politicians as you two express here.
Seriously, I agree on both accounts.
