"What we really need is a few homophobic abortionists"

(Dissociated Press) Pro-life activists have expressed dismay at the appalling lack of network news coverage of the trial of abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who is accused of murdering and mutilating newborn babies in his Philadelphia abortion clinic.  Despite the horrendous crimes with which Gosnell is charged, the mainstream media has shown little interest in news coverage of the trial.

The refusal of the media to cover the trial has led to a change in strategy by some pro-life organizations.

Richard Hemblin, director of National Pro-Life Advocates, explains:

It's unbelievably frustrating. Everything imaginable gets wall-to-wall news coverage-- JLo's new bra, Obama's golf game with Tiger, Bloomberg's soda-cups, but an abortionist who chops up newborn babies can't buy a lead story.  Our strategy committee here at NPLA has been meeting daily, and we've come up with an idea.

Hemblin explained:

We were talking about the cone of silence around Gosnell's murders, and we noticed that another doctor recently got big headlines. Dr. Ben Carson, a pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins, dissed gay marriage in an interview, comparing it to bestiality or something. Boom. Wall-to-wall news. Saturation. And a Rutgers basketball coach was fired for using gay slurs. News story after news story after news story. The media outrage exploded.
I mean, you'd think that Carson and the coach had killed babies or something.
Then it dawned on us. If it's anti-gay, it plays. We need a few homophobic abortionists.

Hemblin smiled, and sipped coffee.

We've put out confidential requests to people who work in abortion clinics who may be sympathetic to the pro-life cause. We've asked them: please be on the look-out for abortion-related homophobia. If an abortionist is insensitive to LGBTQA issues during the abortion-- if he tells a dying baby 'don't squirm like a sissy' or 'hold still you little faggot'-- contact us immediately. We'll get the media all over it.

Hemblin said that pro-life advocates have realized that homophobia, not infanticide, is what gets the press in America today.

"There's zero tolerance for homophobia in our society, and we on the pro-life side can use that to protect babies. An abortionist calling a dismembered baby a "preemie pansy" or a "fetal fruitie" or an "embryonic effie" will spark media outrage, and we need to exploit that", Hemblin said, with a sigh.

The message is clear, say pro-life advocates: anti-gay bullying won't be tolerated, even in the womb. Hemblin cited the recent example of an abortionist who perforated a woman's uterus during a botched abortion. The abortionist vainly tried to staunch the bleeding with digital pressure while workers scurried to cover up evidence of the malpractice. The abortionist remarked to his nurse "you destroy the evidence. I've got my finger in the dyke."

"We could exploit that", Hemblin said.

  1. This is priceless! So true, so true.

If you believe media apologists, the general rule of thumb is 'if it bleeds, it leads.' This one's bleeding, and it's still not leading. Can we all be honest here and admit that the real criterium for leading is if it drives a liberal agenda? If it changes public opinion in the correct way, it leads. If it doesn't, it gets buried.

  2. Thank you for confirming the gist of the post. You're offended by a few words on the page, but not that offended by the murdered children. The slurs are the real scandal here.

  3. The trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell has absolutely nothing to do with gays. Dr Egnor might just as well write about the weather and “faggots”, or the cost of tea in China and “dykes”. I can understand Conservatives frustration, but it’s hardly an excuse to gratuitously slur gay people.

Of course it’s couched in the classic bully formulation “it’s only a joke”.

  4. KW,

The words are offensive, but the dead babies are not?
Criticism (even based on ignorance) of one's lifestyle is a lesser evil than the killing of infants and the unborn?
The sticks and stones are fine, but the NAMES - now that's a capital offence!
What a balanced mind you have, KW.
The only real insult on this post is the one you, KW, deliver to the intelligence of the readers.

  5. Troy,

Black babies are the number one ethnic target market of abortionists in North America, Troy.
I'll simplify it for you: More abortion = less black children. Less abortion = MORE black children. BTW Some of them could even grow up to be gay.
You may also want to consider what effect a 'gay gene' or markers that suggest homosexuality will have on the abortion industry. If people abort children due to sex (ie female), do you think they will hesitate to abort a 'gay baby'? Sheds a whole new light on the 'choice' versus 'born gay' argument, doesn't it?

At any rate.... By arguing for elective abortion you argue for more DEAD black babies. Again, you confirm the same lunatic approach as KW: Mere words are more horrible than the death of millions.

  6. Note to all: Notice the trend? Homosexuals do not reproduce and thus the lifestyle is vaunted and protected. Abortions reduce reproduction and is thus vaunted. Apparently these folks think less people is a good thing. Homosexuality and abortion are just means to an end.
There is a method behind this madness.

  7. You can't understand the frustration?

Here's the frustration. Kermit Gosnell made a living out of killing. He even crossed the line and killed eight people that even our effed up laws consider people: seven babies and one adult woman. That we know of.

Yet he can't get the same news coverage as one real doctor who made a comparison between same sex marriage and NAMBLA. His comments really weren't that offensive.

    That's the frustration.

Kermit Gosnell killed more people than George Zimmerman. You care about that don't you? So sick.

  8. Crusader, It certainly doesn’t take much effort to insult your intelligence when you believe there’s a giant international media conspiracy to end reproduction.

  9. Joey, The difference being that the real doctor who compared same sex marriage to NAMBLA has been touted as a possible Republican presidential candidate. (But for this disqualifying blog and Republicans instant promotion of any black person who agrees with them, it could have been Egnor!)

In the next two days, more Black people will die in America than during the 100 years of lynching recorded after 1865.

  11. KW,

Media conspiracy? Media is merely a tool, KW. It can be used for good and evil. It is frequently used for both.
Do you trust the media? Do you think they are apolitical? Do you think Foxnews, for example, has no agenda(s)? CNN? MSNBC?

Further, you may want to look up the meaning of 'insult to intelligence' as you have just complimented me while intending to insult me. If it is easy to insult my intelligence, I must have a vast capacity for it.

  12. The “We care for black babies” argument is laughable coming from the party of racists.

    3. KW,

The Anti Abortion lobby is for the rights of ALL babies. The pro abortion lobby is against the rights of ALL babies.
Is it a coincidence that the abortion industry - created by 20th century racialist eugenicists - TARGETS black communities?
      Methinks not.
Less people is the game they play, and that you support. Less black people is the immediate result.

    4. Naidoo,

Actually, genetics tells us that there are no human races, so as a result there can't be racism. 85% of the genetic variation between individuals is within so-called racial groups. 15% between so-called racial groups.

External differences between individuals depend on variations in at most several dozen genes - out of 20,000 or so genes. A blond blue-eyed Swede and a Papuan- New Guinean highlander separated by 20,000 km and 40,000 years differ less genetically than two chimpanzees living several hundred kilometres apart.

Humans have always been great travelers.

Socioeconomic disadvantage is something completely different.

    5. race is basically a social construct but racism is real enough. social constructs matter. thanks for the fun facts about the animal kingdom, should come in handy at a cocktail party or backyard barbeque.

  13. No, that's not the difference at all. The difference is that the media doesn't want people to know about Gosnell's house of horrors.

The shock value of Carson's comments was nil.

Hey, was George Zimmerman planning on running for president? No? Okay, I think we've settled that one. It's not the variable.

  14. that's a good one, kw! adam lanza, james holmes, and jared loughner weren't running for president but the media reported their killing sprees. i think killing sprees are news whether or not the person doing the killing has presidential ambitions.

  16. KW, here's a presidential candidate who supports killing infants born alive after botched abortions.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgB74Y4c8YA

You may have heard of him. Unlike Ben Carson, he actually campaigned and won twice. Time for the media to cover it now?

Here is Obama's stated reason for voting against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

    >>[A]dding a – an additional doctor who then has to be called in an emergency situation to come in and make these assessments is really designed simply to burden the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion. … I think it’s important to understand that this issue ultimately is about abortion and not live births.<<

He later said that he voted against it because he believes that killing children born alive is already illegal in Illinois, so it's redundant, but that's a campaign trail lie. The real reason he voted against it is, in his own words, because it would be too much of a burden on the woman and the doctor to save the child's life that they were just trying to kill.

  17. Troy,

"That's right: libruls encourage young people to become faggots so they don't get kids."
Besides being a horrific mess of a sentence, there is two problems with your analysis. First I did not mention liberals. As far as I can tell they are an endangered species and of no real consequence.
Secondly people do not 'get' kids. Children are a result of natural sexual union. Did you think your mum ordered you online or something? Someone needs to have 'the talk' with Troy.

"Really? Even for cannon fodder, that's a pretty deranged opinion."
Canon fodder? What century are you living in, kid?
Nice to see you display your deep abiding respect for the military, however. Seems it's not just babies and Catholics you hate.
As for being 'deranged', I'll take that as a compliment considering the source.

  18. A bit ironic that you of all people should play grammar police, Crusader.

You avoided addressing the gist: what makes you think homosexuality is a means to an end? The end being less people apparently. Do you honestly believe that the homosexual "lifestyle is vaunted and protected" because the protectors want to reduce the number of people on the planet?

Nice to see you display your deep abiding respect for the military, however. Seems it's not just babies and Catholics you hate.

I don't hate babies. I just had some for dinner.
