Black Lives Matter and the new Kristallnacht

Blaming Obama is just nut job crazy. Why was it necessary for a white cop to shoot an unarmed black man several times in the back for having a busted tail light? Why was it necessary for the cop to drop his tazer by the body? Why was it necessary for him not to administer first aid and lie about it? Why was it necessary for the other cops on the scene (one of who was black) to also lie about administering first aid? Why did none of this come forward until after the video surfaced? Why was the cop not charged until the video surfaced.

Are you still arguing that his death was justified? If so, I would really love to hear how you rationalize it. I am all ears.

My goodness, William. It's laudable that you have discovered, after a presumably long life, that there are injustices in the world--that there are incidents in which police do the wrong thing. It's a hard thing to grow up, isn't it?

The issue here isn't police misconduct. There has always been police misconduct, and always will be. There has always been misconduct in every segment of society--butchers and bakers and housewives and cops.

We should do our best to prevent and punish misconduct. Heck, I'm the one who is in favor of enforcing laws, William, not you.

The issue here is not about justice or enforcing laws or protecting minorities. The issue here is about the cynical and malevolent use of media and mass violence to manipulate politics.

The issue here can be illustrated nicely by this analogy. Let us imagine that a bunch of elites suddenly decided to educate the public about financial crimes. To do so, they selected a certain subset of financial crime--financial crimes committed by Jews. Day after day, month after month, year after year we were treated to newscasts and opinion pieces and headlines and politicians lamenting the horrible toll financial crimes committed by Jews was taking on innocent victims. Videos of Jewish businessmen cheating and stealing from innocent non-Jews were each night on the nightly news. Riots in non-Jewish neighborhoods broke out, with rioters chanting "Non-Jewish Lives Matter".

Jews going to work were suddenly being gunned down, execution-style. Disgruntled non-Jewish journalists inspired by reports of Jewish malfeasance were sneaking up on Jewish reporters and cameramen and shooting them in cold blood.

Now of course, defenders of the Non-Jewish Lives Matter movement would say: "Hey--each and every one of these crimes committed by Jews against non-Jews is real! Jewish crime matters! There really are Jews who embezzle and steal and cheat! What are you--bigoted against non-Jews? Why do you deny their suffering?"

Now of course this isn't merely a parable. Pretty much this thing happened in Germany in the 1930's. Ordinary crimes committed by Jews were hyped, and awareness of the enormously more common crimes committed by non-Jews was suppressed. Even though specific examples cited by Nazis of Jewish corruption were sometimes real in some (limited) sense (crimes are committed by people of all faiths), the purpose and effect of the selective outrage was manifestly evil--it was a program of manipulation of public opinion in service of hate and will to power.

Cops abuse their authority, on some (rare) occasions. But the Black Lives Matter movement has nothing to do with that. The BLM movement is a political movement that uses racial hate and fear to gain power. It selects rare (very rare) examples of police action that can be labeled by some as misconduct and uses these (frequently bogus) anecdotes to gin up racial hate and violence. It is obviously supported (and likely organized) in the White House and in several of the lower recesses of the Democrat party.

It is the moral equivalent of lynch mobs inspired (by Democrats) in the early 20th century to 'protect the honor of white women' allegedly (and occasionally actually) raped by black men.

The first thing an historically informed person watching the Ferguson riots should think is not 'social justice' but 'lynch mob'.

The fact is that all lives matter. The truth matters, too. Nearly all crimes committed against black Americans are committed by other black Americans, and by Democrat libtard tools who govern and destroy black communities and who are working hand-in-hand with the new radicals in power to fundamentally transform America, and to to bring about a new and more lasting Kristallnacht.

The Black Lives Matter movement, obviously orchestrated by the White House, is a race-baiting get-out-the-vote ploy to gain political power by inciting mobs to violence.

Tools like you, William, are part of their armamentarium.

If Obama had a son....

The horrendous racially-motivated murders in Roanoke of a newswoman and a cameraman leave a trail of blood that leads to the White House. These murders are only the most recent consequences of a deliberate policy by the Obama administration to inspire racial hate and violence in America.

Obama and the Left are playing with fire. They are deliberately whipping up racism and violence to advance a political agenda. There is rising violence in cities because the police have been slandered and handcuffed by Leftist lies. There are whites killing blacks and blacks killing whites in our new race war--a war started deliberately by the Democrat Left to gin up minority votes so it can retain political power.

Rioters in Ferguson and St Louis and Baltimore are Obama's sons. Thugs in the new crime wave in Washington and Chicago and New Orleans and New York and in cities across the country are Obama's sons. Dylan Roof and Vester Lee Flanagan are Obama's sons.

Wherever whites and blacks are newly inspired to rob and hate and kill each other, there are Obama's sons.

The mainstream media has a lot of this blood on its hands as well--the deliberate editing of the George Zimmerman 911 audio in order to make his motives appear racial is one of the ugliest lies the leftist media had perpetrated in recent memory. The media deliberately inserted a non-existent racial motive into an audio tape for the obvious intention of stirring up racial hatred and violence. It doesn't get any lower.

The Left is rising in America. Race-baiting and violence are its oxygen. This is only the beginning. 

Folks are beginning to figure this out

If Mr. Obama does not want an investigation to go forward, it does not go forward. Witness the scandals involving the Internal Revenue Service, Benghazi, Veterans Administration and Operation Fast and Furious gunrunning. In each case, Mr. Obama claimed he learned about the scandal “from the news.” (That’s interesting coming from a guy who claims he only rarely watches or reads said “news.”) 

He then expressed his “outrage” and vowed to “get to the bottom” of each scandal. (Of course, it’s tough to “get to the bottom” of something when you are the bottom of it.)
In those cases, he protesteth too much. His faux outrage was a “tell” that he had no intention of investigating. In Mrs. Clinton’s case, he’s been quiet. Too quiet. That’s a “tell” that he wants this investigation pursued, likely to the point of charging her. 

He has others talking, however. Each week, there are damaging new leaks about her personal email and server: that despite her denials, she did, in fact, have top-secret and other highly classified materials on the server, that the FBI is conducting a criminal probe and the bureau is “optimistic” it can retrieve the wiped data, that she may have had a second server, that her top aides — Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan — are now also in investigators’ sights. 

Mr. Obama is a clever dark knight: he’s not just going after the queen. He’s going after her court, too.

It's obvious--Obama is a ruthless leftist Democrat (I repeat myself), and he uses the Justice Department, the FBI and the IRS as tools of his politics. Those folks don't take a sh*t without asking permission from the White House.

Obama is in the process of destroying the Democrat heir to his presidency. The reason is obvious--he wants to control the Democrat party, and he needs the Clintons destroyed. Destroyed, not retired.

If the Clintons try to "retire", they'll end up with (figurative) axes through their heads, like Trotsky.

Obama is taking the Clinton machine apart piece by slimy piece, and he's going to annihilate it. We're talking prison for the capos.

This is the real Left, and Obama is real Left. Everywhere the Left has taken power, this is what they do.

They destroy their own first, to consolidate power within their own Party.

My only question is this: why would Hillary be so stupid? Why would she make it so easy for Obama to destroy her? Perhaps her greed blinded her, or perhaps she has something on Obama that she can use in retaliation.

But she's toast. She's not going the be the nominee, probably because she'll be indicted. Will I be happy when Hillary is in an orange jumpsuit. Of course! Who wouldn't be? She's a lowlife gangster who should've been in jail decades ago, along with the sex offender she's "married" to.

But you must understand what's really happening. The takeover of the Democrat party by the hard left--the real Left-- is a sea change in American history. The Left's new voters will be the fools and knaves who voted enthusiastically for Obama, and the ten's of millions of illegals Obama has imported. It may not be a governing coalition yet, or even soon, but we will soon have one of the two major parties in our country be a hard Left party.

American was a good thing, while it lasted. 

The purge of Hillary

The most interesting thing in the nation today has nothing to do with the Republican debates. What's happening now will change our nation's history, and the commentariat seems to understand none of it.

There is a civil war in the Democrat party. The war  is for control of the party. It is hot and (legally) lethal. It will alter our politics and governance.

Obama is taking over the Democrat party. That has been the goal of the Left since 1968, and it is near accomplishment.

Leftists always direct their hate and destructive force at each other, more so even than at their enemies on the right. Stalin destroyed Trotsky. The Purge Trials targeted mostly fellow communists. The goal of the Left is power, and only power, and the Left always begins with local power. For Leftists in the Democrat party, local power means taking over the Democrat party.

How to accomplish it? First, drive out the moderate Democrats. Because moderates generally cannot be convinced to leave voluntarily, the Left uses elections to drive them out. That's why Obama seemed strangely unconcerned that the Democrats lost heavily in  the 2010 and 2014 midterms--virtually all of the Democrats who lost seats were moderate Democrats. The Democrat party that remains is much more Leftist, which is the goal.

The problem that remains for Stalin Obama is that the Clintons and their faction remain in the party, and Hillary is favored to gain the presidency. That would of course castrate Obama and destroy the Left's plan.

How to purge the Clintons? The Clintons are masters at politics and at corruption and dirty tricks, and they certainly won't go voluntarily.

What's remarkable now is that Obama's Justice Department is seriously investigating Hillary. Think about it for a moment. A Democrat president known for his manipulation of the legal system to destroy political opponents (think IRS scandal) is directing a massive felony investigation at his party's (presumptive) next president. Would Carter have directed the FBI to go after Mondale? Would Reagan have directed the FBI to go after George H.W. Bush? Would Clinton have directed the FBI to go after Al Gore?

It is astonishing that Obama is investigating Clinton for the email crimes (and of course they are crimes). The only explanation is this: Obama is destroying Clinton and her machine.

And she will be destroyed, along with her husband and the coterie of gangsters they have collected. Obama wants them gone--many, I suspect, will go to prison.

I doubt Hillary will survive to run in 2016. She will probably be indicted, and probably convicted and jailed. Look for Bill and the capos of the Clinton Foundation syndicate to join her.

Even if she does survive to run in the election, Obama will make sure she loses, and is humiliated.

Obama's goal is the complete control of the Democrat party. He's close, and that is the most remarkable story of his presidency, and it's a story that's not being reported.

After seizing control of the Democrat party, the Left has one problem left: the Democrats will be a smaller party, devastated at the polls. What's the use of taking over the party, if it loses in perpetuity?

The solution: illegal immigration. Obama and the Left are purging the Democrat party of non-Leftists, and filling the electoral hole with tens of millions of illegal immigrants. It may take a generation or two, but the Left will prevail.

It's fascinating to watch.

Planned Parenthood's abortions would disgust even Margaret Sanger

In the midst of the Planned Parenthood scandal, it's worth noting that Margaret Sanger was emphatically opposed to abortion.

Sanger's disgust with abortion is well documented:

She turned women seeking abortions away from her clinics: “I do not approve of abortion.” She called it “sordid,” “abhorrent,” “terrible,” “barbaric,” a “horror.” She called abortionists “blood-sucking men with MD after their names who perform operations for the price of so-and-so.” She called the results of abortion “an outrageous slaughter,” “infanticide,” “foeticide,” and “the killing of babies.” And Margaret Sanger, who knew a thing or two about contraception, said that birth control “has nothing to do with abortion, it has nothing to do with interfering with or disturbing life after conception has taken place.” Birth control stands alone: “It is the first, last, and final step we all are to take to have real human emancipation.”

Sanger was a racist, a eugenicist and a birth control fanatic, but she did not support abortion. It seems, actually, that abortion repulsed her. Planned Parenthood didn't become the world's largest abortion mill until after her death.

This demonstrates the radical depravity of Planned Parenthood and their modern collaborators. Planned Parenthood abortions would disgust even Margaret Sanger.

A very good insight:

“I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. Unless it is politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing, the right people will not do the right thing either, or if they try, they will shortly be out of office.”

It's not enough to just elect reasonably good people. Example: the current Republican House and Senate.

Conservatives need to change the culture, so that even bad politicians wouldn't betray conservative principles. We need militancy and we need to take no prisoners. This is a culture war, in every sense of "war" except for the shooting. We need to fight ruthlessly (within the bounds of law and ethics).

Conservative Republicans demanding defunding of Planned Parenthood don't really mean a lot. We expect them to do that, and frankly they've been rather slow about it.

We'll know we're winning when Nancy Pelosi demands defunding of Planned Parenthood, because Planned Parenthood has been shown to be so evil that even Pelosi's constituents won't abide it.

I would not have thought that possible before the Center for Medical Progress videos. I'm not quite so pessimistic any more.

Stephen Hawking: 'Philosophy is dead'.

Hawking's assertion is philosophy, so he refutes himself. 

Hawking's philosophical musings are notoriously sophomoric, so it's not clear exactly what he means. Even to refute himself, he'd have to muster sufficient philosophical rigor to make a proposition that can be true or false. Such rigor seems to be considerably beyond Hawking's powers. 

Perhaps what Hawking means is that metaphysics has not kept up with science, which is just a conceptual jumble. 

The metaphysics of Aristotle and Aquinas is far and away the most successful framework on which to understand modern science, especially quantum mechanics. Heisenberg knew this. Aristotle 2300 years ago described the basics of collapse of the quantum waveform (reduction of potency to act) and Aristotelian final causation remains the only coherent way to understand evolutionary change-- the most dramatic example of final causation in biology is convergent evolution.

The Big Bang was foreseen by philosophers in the middle ages (who argued that the universe could not be infinite in the past) and of course by theologians.

In quantum mechanics, cosmology and evolutionary biology, scientists are just catching up to over two thousand years of philosophical insight. 

Scientists understand the philosophical framework of their technical labor. Technicians crunch numbers and tinker with instruments, with little insight into the philosophical basis for their calculations. Atheist technicians like Hawking are pitiful imitations of the great scientists of the scientific enlightenment and the great pioneers in modern physics--vanishingly few of whom were atheists. Real scientists do more than play with equations and tinker with instruments. 

Real scientists have a meaningful understanding of natural philosophy as it relates to their work. No atheist scientist in the public spotlight today would pass a freshman philosophy exam. Think Dawkins. Think Krauss. Think Myers. Think Moran. Think Coyne. 

Our 21st century scientific priesthood--mostly atheists and materialists to the extent that their metaphysics is coherent enough to be described-- is mostly half-educated technicians with publicists. 

Atheists like Hawking believe that the universe ultimately makes no sense and has no purpose. Why should we ascribe purpose or sense to their own half-educated musings?

Odd to ascribe hate to a couple who were minding their own business (literally) until their livelihood was destroyed by gay haters who targeted them because of their Christian faith.

The appellation "hate" must also apply to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, who proclaimed the same "hate" all of their lives (and campaigns), until very recently.

We're seeing the beginning of the push-back to the unconstitutional Supreme Court diktat and to the lavender totalitarians. The push-back will grow, as did the push-back to Roe, and we will see a new mass movement-- Pro-Marriage-- akin to the Pro-Live movement.

We've had enough of Planned Parenthood

More than 94% of the women that entire a Planned Parenthood clinic pregnant depart the clinic without their child. Adoption accounted for less than .08% of those numbers last year—I wasn’t a math major but that seems a wide disparity to me. 

We the tax-payers have given them more than a half billion dollars for the last several years. On average it comes to about $1,800,000.00 per day that they take from the tax-payer. 

So not only are these spawns of Satan performing illegal breech abortions, partial birth abortions, and born alive abortions while then doing the most stomach churning things to the bodies following—but you and I are paying for it. We give them roughly $1,600.00 per child that they do it to. 

Enough. 

They will lie and say that they don’t use the tax-payer money, but it all ends up in their general fund. They will lie and say that they stay within the law, but the videos already demonstrate they don’t—with thousands of hours to go. They will lie in their slogan and say they “care, no matter what.” But does anyone believe that the baby that was illegally put into a breech position (as described on video 1) and then is partially delivered (illegal), and then has its crunchy limbs and skull crushed—while leaving the torso in tact, ever sees one ounce of “care?” 

It is not enough to merely defund Planned Parenthood. It must become a significant focus for those of us with the passion and the determination to do so, to prosecute the evil people that are committing these atrocities against those we hold most innocent, and should be most protected. 

Planned Parenthood must die. 

Babies are not clumps of cells, they are not random samples of tissue, they are human beings with the same rights guaranteed them by God as Cecile Richards and Rebecca Watson.

Read the whole thing. Time to finish this odious organization.  Democrats are on the PP payroll, and the connections between PP and the Party of Slavery, Segregation and Infanticide need to be made public and used as a cudgel to discredit Democrat collaborators with our national holocaust.

Republican leadership has repeatedly failed to bring the hammer down on these murderers, and we need to hold lilly-livered Republicans' feet the fire.

Planned Parenthood needs to end, and its administrators and practitioners need to go to prison.

I am second to none in my hatred for Marxism. Marxism is raw evil and is the ideological root of most of modern totalitarianism. Marxists should be sought out and kicked out of academic and polite society. They are the moral equivalents of Nazis.

Pope Francis is no marxist. He was known as a conservative in Argentina, and he opposed liberation  theology as Jesuit master and archbishop of Buenos Aires.

Francis' call--so beautifully elaborated in Laudato Si--is for using our gifts, and particularly our economic gifts, to serve the least among us. It is right and noble and what the Church, as the Body of our Lord, is called to do.

Capitalism entails much spiritual danger--greed, envy, gluttony, sloth and idolatry-- and it is particularly dangerous because, unlike socialism, it works. It genuinely produces prosperity. No one who lives in a socialist culture loves it forever--socialism always fails, always leads to misery of a very tangible form. But capitalism is a narcotic, because it actually makes us comfortable and prosperous, and it seems not to lead to the kind of economic catastrophe that is inherent to socialism.

The Pope's warnings about capitalism are on target. I might stress the evils of socialism more than he has, but I'm not the pope, so I'll do my stressing as a faithful son of the Church.

Conservatives need to get a grip and understand just what the Holy Father is saying. Just because we (rightfully) detest Marxism doesn't mean that capitalism isn't without serious dangers.

Can the United States survive without Planned Parenthood?

It would be a close-run thing, it seems:

A 2012 study by George Washington University professors examined five counties in Texas and found that Planned Parenthood was the “dominant” provider in those areas. The study found that other clinics would need to increase their capacity by “two- to five-fold” in order to handle Planned Parenthood’s patients, but were already at or close to capacity.

Yikes. PP is so essential to women's health that ladies would be dying left and right if we shunt down America's Abortion Mill.

If global warming doesn't get ya, closing Planned Parenthood will. It's a consensus.

Actually, it may not be so bad:

it may be that federal support and subsidies for Planned Parenthood has had the effect of squeezing smaller providers out the markets where they dominate. Furthermore, the passage of ObamaCare was supposed to offer even broader choices by forcing everyone either into a comprehensive insurance plan or onto Medicaid. Women, especially poorer women, shouldn’t have only an abortion mill for their health care, and the government shouldn’t subsidize them and crowd out other potential providers.

Yea. Planned Parenthood is like Walmart-- a behemoth that moves into town and crowds out other providers. The analogy would be exact if Walmart not only sold retail but also killed several hundred thousand children each year and sold their organs (at the lowest price!).

Actually, there doesn't seem to be much truth in the scare:

According to the Government Accountability Office, the roughly 1,200 community health centers in the U.S. serve over 21 million people per year. Planned Parenthood, by contrast, serves 2.7 million people.
“These are comprehensive health care centers, something that Planned Parenthood is not,” said Mallory Quigley, a spokeswoman for Susan B. Anthony List.

Closing Planned Parenthood may actually improve women's health care, at least for the 150,000 baby girls who won't have their skulls crushed each year.

And Cecile Richards' health care might improve as well--the federal prisons have quite good health services.  

Boycott the Boycotters

It seems the anti-Semites in the BDS movement are feeling some of the heat they are trying to inflict on Jews:

The baby killers at Planned Parenthood announce in a new video that the dismembered baby (that they've just killed) from whom they are extracting organs to sell for profit is... a little boy.

Funny-- Planned Parenthood's Dr. Mengeles have always told us that it was just a clump of tissue, medical waste. When it comes to selling the organs for profit, the tissue suddenly become little boys and girls. Which of course the babies are.

Planned Parenthood may just be getting sentimental, as their profits soar. Next thing-- they'll start using pink and blue coat hangers. 

My favorite part about the Obama era...

Issac Newton symposium

A symposium on Newton's less well-known work, which was largely religious. His religious work, even more than his science, was the center of his life.

Like nearly all of the great scientists of the Enlightenment, Newton was a passionate devout (albeit unorthodox) Christian. Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Leibniz, Kepler, Faraday, Pasteur, Maxwell and countless other fathers of modern science saw scientific work as the investigation of God's creation.

Atheists had nothing to do with the rise of science, and atheist scientists today live off the fumes of Christian theology. Nations ruled by State Atheism-- the Soviet Union, Communist China, Pol Pot's Cambodia, Cuba, North Korea-- produce(d) no theoretical science of any value.

Why, if the world is not the product of a Mind and has no purpose and no logic in its creation, should we expect to find consistency and logic in nature?

Atheism is a parasite on science, as it is on every other meaningful endeavor.

What Ed fails to note is that virtually all of the violence and racism happens in municipalities governed and populated by Democrats. Ferguson, Baltimore, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta, Houston-- all wall-to-wall Democrats, governed by liberals, beset with violence and racism and hate.

Democrats have a two-hundred year record of slavery, segregation, bigotry, violence and corruption. That's the real story behind the scandals and crime in our cities, and it's the story libtards like Brayton will never tell the truth about. 

Another corrupt judge--William H Orrick, III-- bundles for Planned Parenthood

It seems the "judge" who imposed prior restraint on the Center for Medical Progress in order to protect Planned Parenthood from public scrutiny has a past:

Judge William H. Orrick, III, granted the injunction just hours after the order was requested by the National Abortion Federation. 

Orrick was nominated to his position by hardline abortion supporter President Barack Obama. He was also a major donor to and bundler for President Obama’s presidential campaign. He raised at least $200,000 for Obama and donated $30,800 to committees supporting him, according to Public Citizen.

Orrick is still bundling for the abortion lobby, running interference to protect PP chop shops from unfavorable revelations. Like so many of our "judges", he's just a gangster hack using his power to violate the Constitution and protect the far left.  

Washington Post lies for Planned Parenthood

Stop the vendetta against Planned Parenthood:

Planned Parenthood is under virulent attack for the role a small portion of its affiliates play in helping women who want to donate fetal tissue for medical research. The antiabortion group Center for Medical Progress has orchestrated a propaganda campaign accusing the nation’s largest provider of abortions of profiting from the illegal sale of fetal tissue, a charge refuted by Planned Parenthood. 

None of the videos released shows anything illegal and, in fact, the full footageof Planned Parenthood executives meeting with people presumed to be buyers for a human biologics company include repeated assertions that clinics are not selling tissue but only seeking permitted reimbursement costs for expenses.

In the videos, Planned Parenthood abortionists negotiate the price at which they will sell parts of the babies they've just killed.  When you negotiate a price, you are selling, not donating. The baby chunks were sold 'with a little extra for the clinic'-- for a profit, which is a federal felony.

The entire WaPo editorial is a lie, including the 'and' and the 'the'.

Laudato Si

My old friend bachfiend asks my opinion on Laudato Si, Pope Francis' recent encyclical on the environment and on economics.

I posted on it at some length at Evolution News and Views, and I'm happy to add a few thoughts here.

I love the encyclical. The Holy Father is right about nearly everything--about our responsibility to care for creation, to love and serve the poor, and to use the proceeds of our labor with God's purposes in mind. Capitalism provides enormous opportunity for all manner of sin--greed, envy, theft, idolatry.

I disagree with Pope Francis on only two points.

1) The Holy Father is mistaken about global warming. AGW is a hoax, just the latest in a 150-year string of fake science apocalypses (Malthusianism, eugenics, DDT hysteria, Global Cooling, heterosexual AIDS,  etc.). The Holy Father needs better science advisors.

2) The Pope didn't stress sufficiently the enormous contribution capitalism has made to bettering the human condition, saving lives, and ending poverty in many nations. Capitalism has many spiritual dangers, but it is unparalleled as an engine of economic prosperity. Socialism is a failure everywhere, and  is closely linked to totalitarianism (ie National Socialism, International Socialism).

Socialism is no less than capitalism a system that promotes sin, and socialism has been a bane to mankind. Socialism has also been a bane to our environment-- National Socialists and International Socialists devastated large swaths of the earth.

But overall Laudato Si is a beautiful encyclical, and its message of stewardship and love for the poor is desperately needed in our time.

Planned Parenthood and the barbarity of America.

He's right. We don't really fully understand the evil, because we're living in it. 

I had always wondered what the Third Reich looked like to ordinary people in Germany before the war. It probably didn't seem so bad to millions of Germans--there were slogans and rallies and improvements in the economy that helped mask the horror that was growing in their nation. 

We should honestly admit that we are living is a nation similarly engaged in such a horror--60 million children murdered since 1973, a third of them by a politically powerful organization that nets a billion dollars a year, half of it paid for by our tax money. 

Pray for justice, and mercy.
