"Will you sign this petition to legalize fourth trimester abortions?"

From Campus Reform:
Several students at George Mason University (GMU) signed a petition on Wednesday demanding lawmakers legalize “fourth trimester” abortions.
The petition, which was circulated on GMU’s flagship campus in Fairfax, VA., just outside Washington D.C., by Media Research Center reporter Dan Joseph said it was aimed at sending “a message to our lawmakers that women have the right to choose what to do with their bodies and babies” even “after their pregnancies.”
“If you don’t know what fourth trimester is, it’s after the baby is already born,” Joseph added in a video showing him collect the signatures.

Remember: this is a college campus. These folks are the smart liberals.

Among the Proglodyte tribe, unborn human beings are the only legitimate forms of absolute private property, dead aborted babies are among the few items for which there is no environmental activist group publicly demanding better recycling, and the profits of private abortion mills are not considered to be immoral.

Sorry. Editorial error: "unborn" should read "unborn and recently-born".

"At least 45 percent of students in our sample did not demonstrate any statistically significant improvement in Collegiate Learning Assessment [CLA] performance during the first two years of college. [Further study has indicated that 36 percent of students did not show any significant improvement over four years.] While these students may have developed subject-specific skills that were not tested for by the CLA, in terms of general analytical competencies assessed, large numbers of U.S. college students can be accurately described as academically adrift. They might graduate, but they are failing to develop the higher-order cognitive skills that it is widely assumed college students should master."

  3. Honestly, how many people have ever heard of the “fourth trimester”? I bet most people asked this question assume you are talking about a period during pregnancy even if the never heard of it. The people in this highly edited video assumed that the questioner was an honest person asking a legitimate question, not some stereotype hustler out to embarrass people. The people that responded “What the fuck are you talking about you idiot?” were left on the cutting room floor.

Translation: "Liberals" are stupid (rather than merely ignorant), too stupid to figure out what "fourth trimester" means ... and you mean ol' right wingers are such mean ol' meanies to put their stupidity on public display like this!
