It's a sad world we live in when ending a child's life is called "care."
ReplyDeleteAbortion is not health care. Abortion is violence. The abortion industry has been winning for forty years because they've convinced enough people that pro-lifers want to deprive women on "health care." It doesn't hurt that they also have a lot of money with which to conduct propaganda campaigns. Some of that money belongs to the taxpayer. Heaven forbid we should want to cut them off. That makes us an enemy of "women's health."

Planned Parenthood was offering Christmas gift certificates a few years back.

"Why not buy a loved one a gift this holiday season that they really need," Cockrum says in a press release LifeNews.com obtained. "The gift certificates are also a wonderful idea for that person in your life who puts everyone else first."
Everyone except the child she created.
"Please join Planned Parenthood of Indiana and give the gift of health this holiday season," she adds.
The gift of "health?" If you wanted to give he gift of health, try a gym membership or some multivitamins.
"They really are intended for preventative healthcare. We decided not to put restrictions on the gift certificates so it's for whatever people feel they need the services for most," she said.
Oh. So they're really for "preventative care" but they'll gladly take them for abortion too. Not that they're intended for that.

ReplyDeleteFrankly, I'd be more convinced of the quality dimension if they had spelled "escourt" correctly. But what can you expect from an ignorant knacker who had "his medical license suspended four times for botched abortions, illegal late-term abortions, and dispensing drugs without a license [and] faced legal and disciplinary actions for making up false threats from pro-life advocates and 'reporting' them to authorities."

DeleteI've been asking Dr. Egnor to write on mind-brain, but this guy's snark is juvenile. One is obviously permitted to express any and all personal views on a blog. Evolution News and Views seems to be the place where most of Egnor's philosophy and science articles go.

If that's true, ybf, then you should have no complaint, but pardon me if I doubt your veracity. A blog is, by definition, a look into the author's soul. with all its diversity. Perhaps you are narrow and uninterested in the world around you, but even the most average of people think about a variety of topics as the day goes by. If you want to talk solely about neuroscience, perhaps you should start your own blog and see how far it goes, but just FYI, a blog personifies the author's thoughts and offers the reader a very personal window into another person's inner thoughts, so, JFYI, you're inner thoughts will have to be a little more interesting than your posts here indicate they can be. As it is, you and a few others here are pretty boring and predictable, but as for me, I am thrilled that a man of Dr. Egnor's stature has been willing to bare his soul. The fact that I can sit in front of my computer and get to know a great man, is one of the few aspects of our modern age for which I am grateful.
