Oops

A Dog Ate 2 years of Lois Lerner’s Emails. Now What?

Gangsters. But the most troubling thing is not that Democrats lie, violate the Constitution and break the law to gain power. That's a natural occurrence, like rain and snow, and we should be accustomed to it by now.

The most troubling thing is that the media and the American public are so in the tank for these thugs that they would dare telling a lie so blatant. They know they can get away with it.

    Awwwww. The dog ate Lois Lerner's homework.

    The claim incriminating communications were erased by a glitch conjures memories of Rose Mary Woods. Barack Obama has brought us Jimmy Carter’s economy and Richard Nixon’s excuses."

    Daily Dose of Smart Power™:

    I am very optimistic about -- about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government. I spent -- I've been there 17 times now. I go about every two months -- three months. I know every one of the major players in all of the segments of that society. It's impressed me. I've been impressed how they have been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences.

    If I recall correctly, 2010 was also the "Summer of Recovery"... Sadly, it was followed by the Winter of Our Discontent: 2014 1Q GDP @ -1%. (USA Today).

    Beware the Biden Oracle.

  3. Wow, two “most troubling things”.

    For their next move I hope the IRS starts taxing churches. The constitution says “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”. If granting churches tax breaks isn't “respecting an establishment of religion” nothing is. I'm sure all you strict constructionists are with me on this one.

      Why don't you explain how taxing churches fits in with "strict constructionism", Popito.

      Be sure and cite your sources.

    2. My source is the plain language of the Constitution:

      “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”

      It says what it says. Deal with it.

    3. Love to chat, but I've got to go suffer Catholic religious mumbo jumbo as they put my 97 year old grandma in the ground. I don't know why they have to make it so creepy.

      In other words, you are the Con Law expert. :-D

    5. Here's how I see it: many nonprofits are granted tax exemptions. Why should religious institutions be treated any differently?

  4. What did you expect, accountability? You have to figure that the IRS's activities were directed by someone at the top using a go-between so that whoever is behind their dirty scheme (let's assume his name begins with either a B or an E) wouldn't take the fall. This is what happens when Marxist atheists with no morals attain positions of authority.

    Another day, another purging.

  6. Under this tyrant, America's journey to a corrupt Banana Republic is now complete. How can anyone trust the rule of law any longer? Our long experiment with "justice for all" is now over. Lex Rex is gone. The King is now the Law and justice be damned. It was a good run but even the founding fathers couldn't foresee nor plan for this level of depravity, dishonesty and abject corruption. There awaits only judgement.

    "9 Listen to me, you leaders of Israel!
    You hate justice and twist all that is right.
    10 You are building Jerusalem
    on a foundation of murder and corruption.
    11 You rulers make decisions based on bribes;
    you priests teach God’s laws only for a price;
    you prophets won’t prophesy unless you are paid.
    Yet all of you claim to depend on the Lord.
    “No harm can come to us,” you say,
    “for the Lord is here among us.”
    12 Because of you, Mount Zion will be plowed like an open field;
    Jerusalem will be reduced to ruins!
    A thicket will grow on the heights
    where the Temple now stands."
