Free crap wins.

Fox just called Ohio for Obama. If true, then it's over.

What is there to say? The worst president in American history-- a hard left lying cipher who's given us a catastrophic economy and a foreign policy in flames-- defeats a transparently decent honest good candidate whose abilities were well-suited to bring us out of this mess.

It's not the 47% any more. It's the 51%. Takers just beat makers. Once that happens in a democracy, there is no going back. When the majority figures out that they can just vote themselves stuff produced by the minority, the die is set.

I believe this is a turning point for our country. When you look at our social disintegration, our out of wedlock births, our abortion holocaust, our media-polluted civic degradation, and now our re-election of an objectively failed president, the writing is on the wall. The decline and fall of a once-great nation.

From here, it's Obamaphones and free condoms, all the way down.

There are many things we can do, in our personal lives, in our families, in our churches and our communities. But saving our country will not be one of those things.

  1. Obama's second term: check.
    Democratic Senate: check.

Next up: a Republican civil war.

  2. I think it's important to be a graceful loser, Dr. Egnor. Mitt Romney was no dreamboat either, and even if he was...let's have some class.

  3. Allot of apocalyptic talk from Christians tonight. Over at the Blaze commenters are talking about using the guns and ammunition they’ve been stockpiling for 4 years.

    1. I missed that. I'm a regular Blaze reader.

I'll let you in on a little secret. The really stupid comments coming from commenters who talk the way leftists think we talk are actually leftists. So if it says, "Golly gee wiz, I sure do hate black people. It says it in my Bible" there's a good chance that it was one of your friends in disguise.

  4. “Obamaphones” nice reference to one of the most racist images used by the right in this election. You just can’t help yourself; your bile just oozes out all the time. Sorry racist, you LOSE.

    1. An Obamaphone isn't a "racist image." It's a reality.

We can't talk about cell phones now either. That's a "dog whistle." What do cell phone have to do with play?

There's been some dispute over whether the phones are actually a government program. Obama doesn't care. As long as his name is attached to it, he gets the credit and the votes.

You could work on being a gracious winner, too.

    2. EXACTLY, KW.

Obamaphone a "reality?" This specific program, SafeLink, was started under President George W. Bush.(The REAL 'Worst American President')

If you right-wingers actually delved deeper into your propaganda, you'd find some actual truth.

    3. The woman in the video you refer to is a welfare addicted Obama supporter who is voting for her bennies. It's all she cares about. The fact that she's black is irrelevant.

By the way, Dr. Egnor didn't post a picture of the woman. He didn't refer to her. He simply mentioned the word Obamaphone which is not racist in any way. Nor that it would be racist if he did post a picture. Try defending the program.

This is how you control language and the course of conversation. Everything we can say is racist so we can't say anything at all. Welfare is a policy and we're allowed to discuss it. Welfare recipients are not a race and criticism of their dependency is not racism.

And yes, the program is a reality. I didn't mention who started it. It was started in 1984 during the time of Reagan. Obviously, Congress passed the bill and Reagan signed it. But NOBOBDY CALLS THEM REAGAN PHONES! The program is not less real because it started before Obama was elected. It's not a "racist image." It's something you'd rather not talk about.

Did you know that I don't get 250 minutes a month on my phone? And I actually pay for mine!

    4. You honestly make it out as if the "image of an unattractive black woman sounding both crazy and stupid" was an actress hired by Republicans. She was a real Obama supporter who came out to demonstrate against Romney. She explained why she was standing by her man Barack; because of the free crap. She is real. She is not an image.

  5. Oh, don't be so dramatic. Romney lost by being so utterly unappealing he couldn't beat a disappointing incumbent during a recession and two unpopular wars.

I'm interested to see what turnout was like. I bet it was at a record low.

Here are some silver linings for you:

    1. Our president is not a national embarrassment the way Clinton and W were. He's an intelligent, decent family man who treats his wife and kids well.

    2. He's a healthy guy, which means we're unlikely to be stuck with Biden as president.

    3. It's no more than four more years. America will survive.

    1. There's only one unpopular war going on. And yes Obama is a national embarrassment. He thinks they speak Austrian in Austria, he left two Navy Seals to die and then blamed it on a filmmaker who will forever live in hiding. He bows to absolutely everyone. He doesn't give a crap about our Constitution.

    2. There's only one unpopular war going on.

And why is that? Oh right, because Obama gave the orders that pulled the U.S. out of one of them.

he left two Navy Seals to die

No, he didn't. The conservative hysteria machine ginned up a story about Benghazi that simply doesn't hold up. Special forces teams were assembled and dispatched almost immediately, but they didn't even get to Italy before the shooting was over. An on site CIA security team left the annex for the consulate within minutes of the start of the incident. Another team left Tripoli by plane, but were stopped by Libyan officials when they landed in Benghazi. The Romney campaign dropped the Benghazi issue once it became clear that the hysteria machine had become too distanced from reality to be worthwhile as a political issue.

GWB didn't treat his family well? He isn't a decent family man?

I mean, why do you figure he is a national embarrassment?

    1. John Henry:

I think W was smarter than the current crop of Republicans, including Romney. In 2000, W understood that the Republican demographic base was shrinking, and that the party needed to bring more voters on board in order to have a chance at winning. This is why he aggressively courted the Hispanic vote, with policy proposals that the current Republican party wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

And that's why the Republicans lost the Presidential election. and why in an election cycle in which 23 Democratically held Senate seats were up for election, the GOP managed to lose two seats previously held by Republicans.

As long as the Republican party continues to be beholden to people who hold insane political views like Egnor, and as long as they continue to nominate winguts like Aikin and Mourdock, the Republican party will continue to lose national elections.

  7. There are probably a lot of reasons to criticize Obama, but what was the alternative? An insane, reality-denying creationists who bases his positions on what and imaginary being tells him?

"He has both. I can't say the same for you. Every time you lose an argument you resort to calling your opponent a "lying sack of shit."

Theres name calling on both sides of the arguments on this blog. I for one decided a while back to refrain from this tactic, because it gets you nowhere, and just makes the other person even more angry or look down upon you.

Ironically, this "faithful catholic" Egnor is very quick to constantly name-call. It just reveals a lot about his character.
