|"I'm for abortion and free birth control!"|
This is the party whose most powerful senator left his probable mistress to drown after a car accident; the party whose most popular living president is a serial philanderer and accused rapist; the party whose most prominent woman rose to that prominence by virtue of her stand-by-your-man loyalty to a louse; and now the party of Anthony Weiner and Eliot Spitzer, two men who have humiliated their wives with truly creepy behavior and yet
seek to continue their political careers regardless...
Democrat women are willing — even eager — to abet the bad behavior of men as long as those men support the Democrats’ theoretically pro-woman agenda of legal abortions and taxpayer-funded health care.
But isn’t it possible that the agenda and the behavior are connected? That is, ladies, maybe it’s not a coincidence that the same men who want to ensure your unborn child can be turned into medical waste — or who feel your vote (not to mention your sexual favors) can be bought in exchange for “free” birth control — are the very men who treat you like a collection of damp holes into which they can stick themselves without regard for your feelings, their principles, or basic human decency. The Kennedys, the Clintons, the Weiners, the Spitzers — maybe they have a natural home in a party that is always thinking of ways to transform female sexuality into a meaningless mechanism, and devising ways to fund that transformation with other people’s money.
It’s too bad really. I’m sort of fond of women, speaking generally. I know some guys have a problem with them, but taken as a sex, they’ve been really nice to me, all things considered. Sad to see them fall under the sway of a party that, both personally and politically, treats them like so many pieces of meat.
Please read the whole thing.
Klavan's illustration (above) is priceless.
The Democratic Party is the “party of women” because they prefer the Democratic policy positions. Any other stupid questions?ReplyDelete
I am sure portraying women as stupid sex dolls will help draw them to the Republican side.ReplyDelete
You, guys, are a hoot!
The party that confiscates tampons from demonstrators should not expect that women will switch from D to R any time soon.Delete
Contraception matters to women. A lot. Calling women sluts will surely make the letter R more attractive to them.Delete
And let's not forget Todd Akin's theory of contraception. "If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."Delete
Not to flog the dead horse, but those who think that aspirin is the best contraceptive should not be surprised that women do not find the joke all that funny.Delete
You're prolific today, Hooter.Delete
I did note your comment about the confiscation of tampons. It reminded me of this:
The Houston Chronicle also noted that state troopers also confiscated “one jar suspected to contain urine, 18 jars suspected to contain feces, and three bottles suspected to contain paint.
--- Houston Chronicle
Urine and feces, eh? Definitely Progressive women. They've got their shit together!
Don't thank me, admiral, thank Egnor. He picked the winning theme. And a great image to go with it. I am sure women who use contraception will be thrilled at how he sees them!Delete
'People in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones'.ReplyDelete
The first thing I thought of is that people tend to take notice of events that are unusual or uncommon. I have little doubt that most Democrats and Republicans behave decently, and that it's the exceptional politician who behaves badly.
The second thought I had was - how long would it take to find a Republican who has behaved badly...
Answer - 10 seconds. I typed 'Republican mistress abortion' into Google search and got an immediate hit. 'Republican Scott DesJarlais, a pro-life, Tea Party Republican who represents Tennessee, pressured his mistress and patient into getting an abortion, according to audio of a phone call obtained by the Huffington Post'.
This thread turned into a train wreck in record time. Congratulations, Dr. Egnor!ReplyDelete
If you really can’t understand why Clinton getting oral sex from an intern 15 years ago, or the creepy behavior of Anthony Weiner, doesn’t override a woman’s view on gun laws, or healthcare, or corporate tax policy, then you clearly have a very low opinion of women’s intellect. The very notion that the sexual scandals of a few politicians should be an overriding consideration when women choose which party to vote for is insulting to women.ReplyDelete
Oh, I can understand it, Poptard. I watched The Life of Julia. As James Carville said, "Drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find." Works on college campuses, too.Delete
Yes Admiral, stick with the women are like trailer park trash that can be manipulated for modest sums of cash analogy; that will win them over.Delete
Wasn't it you, Popdude, who said "cash payments" would solve the overpopulation "problem"? I believe so, sir.Delete
It looks like none of your fans, with the sole exception of admiral, are interested in defending this execrable post. And even the admiral is doing it half-heartedly. Way to go, my friend!
Maybe you should publicize it more widely. Send a link to your daughters (who are likely Democrats and users of contraception). I am sure they will endorse it.
