  1. Terrific post!

Also, I'm delighted that both The New York Times and Reuters are challenging the image advanced by the White House that the Syrian rebel forces are largely moderates who are worthy of yet another military intervention by the United States.

    According to Samantha "Smart" Powers,

We [The Obama Administration] thought perhaps a shared evidentiary base could convince Russia or Iran — itself a victim of Saddam Hussein's monstrous chemical weapons attacks in 1987-1988 — to cast loose a regime that was gassing it's people...

    Iran?

    IRAN???

The United States has intercepted an order from an Iranian official instructing militants in Iraq to attack U.S. interests in Baghdad in the event the Obama administration launches a military strike in Syria, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

    Russia?

    RUSSIA???

Speaking to his human rights council Wednesday, Putin said, "This was very unpleasant and surprising for me. We talk to them (the Americans), and we assume they are decent people, but he [John "Lurch" Kerry] is lying and he knows that he is lying. This is sad."

Is there no bottom to the imbecility of the Lackwit Administration?

  3. Barry the Nobel Peace Maker has done such a bang up job with Libya and Egypt, why not go into Syria as well. What could go wrong? Oh, and remember that nasty word 'unilateralism'? Seems like it's an ok concept now, since there is a Democrat at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

  5. "No matter what happens in Syria, this event and the ongoing surveillance scandals are of historic importance. They mark the high water mark of the policy of aggressive and ever-widening military interventions, attacks and wars that we have seen from Clinton, Bush and Obama for the past 15 years.

"That era is ending. That policy now faces ever higher public disillusionment and resistance from peoples in many nations. The tide has turned against that aggressive policy." American and World Public Opinion Awakening — A Tidal Shift Occurring
