    We can now add artificial intelligence to the long list of topics Egnor doesn't understand: climate science, evolutionary biology, physics, constitutional interpretation, political science...

    It's funny to see how stupid he is. Keeps me coming back, anyway.

      I'm curious... What's your take on the Roger Penrose (Rouse Ball Professor of Mathematics, Oxford U; co-author of the Penrose-Hawking singularity theorems) argument about AI. I'm sure you're familiar with it, being an expert and all.

    And, as anyone without an atheistic axe to grind understands, 'artificial intelligence' will *never* be actually intelligent.

    No one emotionially invested in the false dream of AI takes reason ... or what they themselves know to be true about our field of science/technology ... seriously.
