Yea. Natural gas is a good lubricant, and bus workers drive to work using natural gas, and the factories that make buses run on natural gas, and the cities that finance and run public transportation systems would run just fine if deprived of oil...
And 150 years ago Egnor's argument would be that train engineers had to get to work in horse-drawn carriages. Ergo we can't do without horses. That's some forward thinking.

Or instead of horses, we could all ride on bicycles. Even the physically unfit could use an eBike (a moped with a rechargeable battery driven auxiliary motor for hills) which is much more energy efficient than either driving a car or walking.
"According to the American Public Transit Association, nearly one-fifth of all transit buses were run by compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquid natural gas (LNG) in 2011. Currently, transit buses are the largest users of natural gas for vehicles."
You might want to read more carefully. The sentence above was "Most buses in major cities run on natural gas." The statistics you cite is for the US overall.
Take Los Angeles. All of its transit buses run on compressed natural gas.
Most buses in major cities run on natural gas.

DeleteActually, they all could.
They could ride horses too, which is what we all will do if you nuts get your way.

DeleteAnother spectacularly (mis)informed greentard.

Nearly 20% is not "most".
