I really can't stand environmentalists...

Schwarzenegger Signs Global Warming Bill
SAN FRANCISCO -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday signed into law a sweeping global warming initiative that imposes the nation's first cap on greenhouse gas emissions, saying the effort kicks off "a bold new era of environmental protection."
Standing on picturesque Treasure Island with San Francisco's skyline in the background, Schwarzenegger called the fight against global warming one of the most important issues of modern times.
"We simply must do everything we can in our power to slow down global warming before it is too late," Schwarzenegger said during an address before signing the bill...

    1. Environmentalism as a political movement is inherently political. It is populated with rich pampered solipsists, who having been given unprecedented health and comfort and wealth via control of the environment set out to deny it to others.

There are tons of environmentalists at Harvard and UCSF. They've got theirs-- modern civilization, protection from insect-borne diseases, any convenience you can name. "Roughing it" means having to wait too long for the download to your iPhone.

There are fewer environmentalists in Sudan or Bangladesh.

      I think you'd be surprised.

    3. An environmentalist in a place where people have direct experience with nature would be surprising.
